Privacy Policy:
This practice is committed to patient confidentiality. No material will be released to any third party without your written consent. In the event of life-threatening events and emergencies, such as planned suicide or homicide, Florida State Statutes are followed (e.g. Baker Act, Marchman Act, notification of parents, intended victims, public health infectious disease laws, etc.). Drug and alcohol treatment information is protected.
When a child or minor is the patient, information disclosed by the patient during their sessions is
not released to parents or guardians unless it is classifiable as life threatening. Treatment summary or general information is conveyed to parents, when the child patient is agreeable to same.
If you are involved in any legal actions for which you desire psychiatric evaluation, consultation, or reports, this information must be disclosed at the outset.

Privacy Policy:
My psychiatric practice is outpatient. I no longer follow patients in the hospital, or see patients while hospitalized, rather, upon discharge. When hospitalization should occur/become necessary, the Crisis Center, drug treatment facility, or hospital typically provides an in-patient psychiatrist.

Insurance:
Please note that all patients are responsible for payment at the time of service. I cannot provide direct insurance billing nor accept direct insurance compensation due to onerous delays, excessive paperwork, insufficient payment, and the compromise of patient confidentiality. You will be provided with billing statements that may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement, at your discretion.
